High throughput Real Time PCR services
ServiceXS offers high-throughput real time PCR services on Fluidigm's BioMark. Fluidigm Corporation develops and distributes systems based on the unique properties of Integrated Fluidic Circuits (IFCs) to precisely control fluids on a nano-volume scale.
BioMarkTM Dynamic Arrays deliver a new level of efficiency and throughput for Real Time PCR applications. The Dynamic Array eliminates the endless liquid transfer steps to set up each and every data point. They have an on-chip network of channels, reaction chambers that automatically assemble the PCR reactions (see picture below of a 96.96 Fluidigm array).
On one single Dynamic array, 88 experimental samples (and 8 controls) are processed against any 96 assays. One single run generates 8,448 experimental data points (9,216 if you include the control and dilution series). This is equivalent to 24x 384-well plates. Reducing the number of pipetting steps not only lowers the hands-on time, it also reduces the variability and drastically increases the throughput.

ServiceXS offers high-throughput Real Time PCR applications on the Fluidigm platform, using either Taqman® assays or EvaGreen chemistry. The number of samples that fit onto an array is 88. The laboratory requires either cDNA samples, or choose to let our staff do your cDNA syntheses.
