Affymetrix GEx Mouse
| Most widely used arrays of Affymetrix for murine samples (please note that not all Arrays are available in a format that can be used on the GeneTitan™ instrument): |
|
- GeneChip® Mouse Gene ST Array (cartridge and plate format)
- GeneChip® Mouse Exon ST Array (cartridge format)
- GeneChip® Mouse Genome 430 2.0 array (cartridge and plate format)
- GeneChip® Mouse Tiling Arrays (cartridge format)
Mouse Gene ST Array
The GeneChip® Mouse Gene ST Array belongs to the Affymetrix product family of Affymetrix expression arrays offering whole-transcript coverage. Each of the 28,853 genes is represented on the array by approximately 27 probes spread across the full length of the gene, providing a more complete and more accurate picture of gene expression than 3’-based expression array designs. This array is available in cartridge format as well as GeneTitan plate format. The plate array enables high-throughput expression analysis of 16, 24, or 96 samples at the same time.
Mouse Exon ST Array
With approximately four probes per exon and roughly 40 probes per gene, the GeneChip® Mouse Exon 1.0 ST Array enables two complementary levels of analysis—gene expression and alternative splicing. Multiple probes per exon enable "exon-level" analysis and allow you to distinguish between different isoforms of a gene.
Mouse Genome 430 2.0 Array
The GeneChip® Mouse Genome 430 2.0 array offers complete coverage of the Mouse expression set 430: 45,000 probe sets that analyze the expression level of more than 39,000 transcripts and variants from over 34,000 well-characterized mouse genes. All probe sets of the GeneChip mouse expression set 430 are included in the Mouse Genome 430. This array is available in cartridge and GeneTitan plate array format. The plate array enables high-throughput expression profiling of 16, 24, or 96 murine samples at the same time using the same industry-standard content as the cartridge array.
