Custom Genotyping

Illumina's GoldenGate assay is most suitable for medium to small sized projects (96 samples and more) and SNPs (between 96 and 1,536). For larger projects and more SNPs to be analyzed, we recommend Illumina's Infinium custom iSelect. 

GoldenGate custom genotyping
Number of samples: Starting from 96 samples
Number of SNPs: For 384, 768 and 1,536 loci

Infinium custom genotyping
Number of samples: Starting from 1,152 samples
Number of SNPs: From 3,072 up to 200,000 loci

ServiceXS provides assistance in the design of a custom GoldenGate or Infinium genotyping panel and subsequent ordering of the custom OPA (oligo pool array) at Illumina. Shipment of the Illumina custom OPA will typically take place 8 to 10 weeks (for GoldenGate) or 10 to 12 weeks (for Infinium) after order confirmation.
