Helicos

ServiceXS has been service provider for Helicos DNA sequencing as of the year 2010. We generated several data sets for DNA sequencing successfully and are validating more applications. This new technology allows the direct capture and sequencing of nucleic acids from cell quantities as few as 400 cells with our end goal of single cell measurements.

Next to that, Helicos offers the possibility of analyzing fresh samples, FFPE samples, and even archival tissue samples that have never been sequenced before! Due to the unique techology, you can sequence with small amounts of input material, giving you access to analyze extinct species and/or rare materials.
