Bioinformatics

Genomics and proteomics research often result in vast amounts of data to be analyzed. Expertise in data analysis is required to draw the right conlusions from your data sets.

Data-Analysis Servicesxs

Our experience in microarray experiments allows us to advise you in all phases of the project: from experimental set-up to analysis of the final data. For analysis of large or demanding data-sets, ServiceXS has started a collaboration with the bio-informatics company Crosslinks.

CrossLinks's aim is to deliver services, solutions and technology to deal with large data sets, i.e. from genomics and proteomics experiments, for life sciences companies and (biomedical) research. The combination of software packages from Omniviz, Inforsense, Inxight, Omniciz and Spotfire, enable visual and statistical interpretation of complex datasets as well as linkage to data in literature.

Crosslinks works with data from the following types of microarrays:

  • RNA expression arrays to study mechanisms of action and pathways
  • SNP arrays for linkage analysis, association studies and copy number variation
  • Exon arrays to investigate splicing patterns (for mutation detection)

Crosslinks offers data analysis services in the following areas:

  • Experimental design & quality control
  • Statistical data analysis
  • Classification of biological subgroups
  • Identifying novel targets and managing risk
  • Diagnostic decision support
  • Propriety biomarker compendium
