Hi-Res Melting™ Curve Analysis

Melting Curve Analysis (MCA) is a simple technique that uses the decreasing fluorescence of a melting double-stranded DNA molecule to scan for the presence of DNA sequence variants (SNPs and mutations).

ServiceXS offers access to Hi-Res Melting technology (recently developed by Idaho Technology, Inc.), using the LightScanner Instrument.

  • Pre-sequence scanning
  • SNP discovery & mutation detection
  • Genotyping by amplicon melting
